N.E. Brigand
Gold's recent scores: July 20 -- 73.05 July 22 -- 73.90 July 24 -- 75.35 July 26 -- 73.55 July 27 -- 71.70 At this rate, they'll be scoring a 62 in Open Class Finals! Obviously that won't happen, but I'm very curious to see how this plays out, because that July 20 show was the last one this year for Blue Devils B and Vanguard Cadets, who scored 3.50 points and 2.45 points, respectively, ahead of Gold. Nah, this is just the west coast corps starting to line up on the east coast/Midwest judging panels. That drop happens almost every year in open class. It’s all just speculation and fun and games anyway until everyone’s on the same panel (which is why the WC Regional shows usually have one or two “surprises” that happen).
