Front ensemble and marching percussion have changed into the tan tops.

Small ensemble breaks up as the percussion comes back in at a much faster tempo. Nice rifle toss!

Percussion feature interspersed with the brass. What I like is that they’re not doing the usual pairing of snares with trumpets, mellos with tenors, and so on.

Really wicked trombone slurs as we build into the impact of this section. Really adds to the effect. Corps now spreads apart as we return to Eternal Glory.

Mellophone soloist on one of the backfield props, playing the O Fortuna melody, but in a mournful post battle way.

Snares now come in on lower tuned drums, giving a more military feel to the piece as we go into the final build of the piece.

Really nice effect calling back to the ‘93 version of this song - The guard using the corps helmets as equipment while the other helmets are set up backfield around one of the props.

Reprise of the O Fortuna theme one last time before the big triumphant ending. The spirit of of Joan overcomes all!
