MikeN
So what happened with the Expos in '89 - they reneged on their deal with DCI, or did DCI put the banner up expecting them to sign a contract, or what? I've been wondering about that one as well! :) Mike
Malibu
Well, remember that it WAS the corps 50th anniversary...and the drums had gold shells. LOL! You know, I'd never even thought of that. Duh! Yep...he is right! They were giving out buttons that year saying, "We are Golden!" Sue, we wore the Black & White unis first in 1980.......it was more like a "pant-suit" than a jump-suit. The top was separate from the bottom.
byline
Sue, we wore the Black & White unis first in 1980.......it was more like a "pant-suit" than a jump-suit. The top was separate from the bottom. Ah, yes, I'd forgotten about that. Now I remember the top with the little white belt, worn over the pants. So, where do we begin with the "guard uniform being different from the corps proper uniform" timeline? Seems to me like Crossmen's outfit is yet another example. And there are probably others that came before Spirit or Freelancers in '79. I just can't remember them. Pittman
in 1990 Bluecoats guard went back to being all female. I believe it wasn't until the late 90's that they returned to a coed guard. Bluecoats went back to a co-ed guard in 97.
