They won percussion in 91 and 93. I have no clue about guard.

WoobieATL
Star won horns in 90, 92 and 93 (93 was a tie with BD). They won percussion in 91 and 93. I have no clue about guard. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe that 91 was also a tie with Blue Devils as well. The color guard unfortunately never won high guard. Not sure about the 1991 high drums....I thought someone else won it that year...
lrienaeds
I believe that 91 was also a tie with Blue Devils as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 91 was the last year that they used the GE Brass score in the event of a tie in the Brass caption. Both BD and Star scored a 19.6 in Brass, but BD scored 14.7 in GE Brass compared to Stars 14.6. BD was awarded High Horns in '91. No tie. I'm pretty sure it was Star that pushed to have that rule removed for '92.

BDguardsman
Star 1993 is my favorite..although, I believe 1991 was the hands down winning show. I also really liked 1989. I did not like 1987 at all. And Star was winning guard all season in 1993 until about finals week.. I remember how we at BD and CBC felt when they won high guard at preview of the champions. They were a great guard...one of my favorites. Edited January 10, 2005 by BDguardsman
LuvsPAisTe
But no Star show was more seminal than '93. Barely a show since doesn't show some influence of the innovations they made popular, (some more than others, admittedly).
