Walter Posted September 18, 2004 Share Posted September 18, 2004 (edited) Just something to make you go HMMMMM to, if you could turn back the hands of time, at least twenty to thirty years ago, which corps would you have loved to march with. I would have loved to have marched with the 1975 Madison Scouts. What a fabulous hornline and the rest of the corps was just as great. To be on the starting line and see the audience being pushed back by a wall of sound would have been overwhelming. The clarity was so clear and the soprano soloist was just super. Crossmen 78 - for the cool capes, Jazz Rhapsody, Something, Russian Christmas, cowbell, who could ask for more? Bridgemen 76 - because they all fell down Bridgemen 77 - because they all fell down (in a different way) Marquis de Fon du Lac 75 - gotta love the name Guardsmen 76 - the helmets were cool, they played Final Analysis, and they got to be on TV with a flute player!
