underdog
Random Question: If a current drum corps was to change it's name and ideas to bring back an old corps, which one might it be and who would they bring back?

gumby5647
Magic could change their name and uniforms to Suncoast Sound :D Or at least they could play Florida Suite in 05 as kind of a tribute

strutta
Though changing the entire corps to revive a defunct one may be a bit much, doing a classic (though updated) show of such corps could be fantastic. I thought Phantom with the tan unis and all girl guard, could have done a classic Lancers show, for example. ravedodger
Carolina Crown as 27th Lancers? PLEASE! Stop that...No way...not the same caliber... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you look at the 27th in the '80's and Crown this decade, there may be a slight similarity. Looking at Crown's climb from 33rd place in 1990 and their 7th place finish in '04, I would have to say that I'm impressed. Especially with the competition being tougher today than ever before. Lancerlady
I don't see a slight similiarity, 27 has always been way above 30th place. The only year that I know of that they had their worst was 1974, they came in 20th and then in 1975 came back to 4th place. That's in one year! Please elaborate on what you mean...It didn't take them the whole decade. That's not the same thing...no way. 27 was always in the top 12 except for the last two years...so I don't get the similarity.
