rudidrummer73
Boston Crusaders : "CONQUEST" any year, but 1983's "My Guitar Gently Weeps" intro and 1989's "Whiter Shade of Pale" intro were both cleverly crafted, IMO.From the Music soundtrack of "Captain from Castille", starring Tyrone Power and Caesar Romero, composed by Alfred Newman, 1951. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You Are Correct! 1970 Boston Crusaders -- "California Dreaming" into "Conquest"! Plenty of testosterone! In fact, and this may be a whole new listing, the 1970 Crusaders OTL of "Conquest" featured what might be the best soprano solo ever. Does anybody do solos anymore? I mean upper register solos?

elphaba01
Troopers, mid-late-60's ('66??), "How the West was Won"---partly for the music, mainly for the way the full-corps company front came together as they headed for the end line. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Fave Exits": St Catherine of Sienna Queensmen, 1961-1962: "With a Smile & a Song", from the Movie "Snow White". Written for the Queensmen by the late Joe Genero. St Raphaels Buccaneers, 1964-1965: "In the Shelter of Your Arms", written by the late Joe Genero. There are a great many more "faves" from that (my) era, but these two come to mind.... Elphaba
