84Cadet
Whom should I say the "lebanese" message is from? Like Sam said, tell him hi from Dave Fowler. I played #1 cymbals. "Lebanese" was Steve's corps nickname.
84Cadet
Dave FowlerHey Dave....i think this is the performance I found that had the tempos a lot slower than at finals...the one you listened to when you came out to CA a couple of years back and met me at my office. Yes, I think you're right. Pretty cool. (And thanks again for that file!)
bluecoats88
As far as I'm concerned, a TRADITION, that has gone by the way side and a decision that has robbed a lot of first time show goers, one of the most impressive sites of all drum corps !!! b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs Now I didn't like them especially on those hot nights when the bugs were out in full force BUT a tradition that gave the audience one last time to thank the performers for their efforts and passion. TOO BAD ACTUALLY !! That is actually the corps trooping the stands after their performance not retreat. But I'm pretty sure the tradition he was refering to was the horn members escorting the guard members off the field.

VKMello84
Who?Good question. Her name was Carol . . . can't remember her last name. I think she played mellophone. Marched in '80, I guess. This was a long time ago. When I knew her, she was in the Bridgemen, 1982 & 1983.

VKMello84
Garfield showin' off their championship flags.I am told that they would take them out to every retreat back then. They had some trouble keeping track of them.
