scv guy
SCV won drums in 79 with 12. Not sure if that was the largest snare line to win but it's has to be close. It has to be the largest snare line to win a "Fred". Believe it was a 19.1. I think most can agree that snare lines went down in size after '79. No one marched more than 12 (for the whole show) and won high drums to my knowledge.
lp1955
I think I recall that the Bayonne (probably still "St. Andrew's" at the time) Bridgemen fielded 10 snares in '73. Can anyone out there confirm/deny?Fred O. If memory serves me I think we had 9 snares in 73 I seem to remember we had a player on the 50 and 4 on each side. We were ST. Andrew's till 76 season when the church withdrew its sponsorship.

BDCorno
1976 Blue Devils snareline. Scott Johnson is fifth from the left. One of the all-time great snare lines, for sure.
tommytimp
Phantom came in second in 1983 with 18 snares. Oky, not for the whole show, but still, that open roll at the end is pretty clean...

He was the drum guy at San Diego State when I started there in
