lnavis
Gotta go with Garry on this one.I've got the same program, and it says "Royal Blues," but it really has a picture of the Squires. Here's a shot from that same time period. The Squires had white shirts with black collars and cuffs, and a black stripe down the left side. The flags were yellow/gold on top and black on the bottom. This is my sister Darla (on flag), girlfriend Corkie (in VK uniform), sister Arleen (rifle) and brothers Andy (snare) and David (bells) circa 1975: What a cool picture! I love pictures from "my era"! Oh parades! The kids today just don't know what they are missing from the "good old days" of marching a parade and then going to do a show at night! wsssb
Lynne, if you marched with State Street in 1978-79 you may have marched with Corkie (seen in the photo, above). I think she went there about then. Edited April 3, 2008 by wsssb

IllianaLancerContra
How about that! We competed in that show. Scored a whopping 27 that day. I hear you, been there too. But the up side was that you knew right where you stood against everone else - no div 2/3 (or 'open class', or whatever) sheets.
