RobH
And because it's Nancy's birthday, I want to add my favorite sonnet from Robert Browning to Elizabeth Barrett Browning, from Sonnets from the Portuguese, because it expresses all I need to say to Nancy today (and because when I was young my dad got the entire book of Sonnets for my mom!): How do I love thee ? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of everyday's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints,--I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life !--and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death. SBrancheau
Rob, honey, depending on the year of the photo, look for the red tassle, which is next to the white tassle on her busby.

RobH
I should have mentioned here that Gaspar (Mrs. Nancy) and I are in contact with each other so as not to complicate things! Gaspar's a very lucky guy but I'm sure he knows it! I'm sure he's as proud of Nancy as I am - despite his non drum corps background! Right, Gaspar? Besides, Mrs RobH is my "center" in my life - in spite of my whiny adoration of Nancy!
