Jaminbenb
Cool...btw...WHAT Harrisburg Parade??? Maybe I can wander by and laugh at your Mucus green uni! heh heh heh! The story was we went against Hanover in the old Red Carpet Association one night and thought we beat 'em. Ended up losing by a margin that was past ridiculous. Forget where it was but it was a long enough bus trips that BOTH buses came up with a new song for our rivals down south. You gave the bus #2 song, bus #1 (where I hung out) came up with a bunch of verses and could never keep the order straight. The cleanest ones I remember are: Here's to you Hanover, here's to you (repeat) You think that you're first class, but you're just a horses ### Here's to you Hanover, here's to you Only line that changes is the second one, other lines are: Your drummers ears have cotton, 'cause they know your horn lines rotten. You think your colors keen, but it looks like mucus green OK, time to laugh at myself, I came up with the "mucus green" line and guess what uniform I will be wearing tomorrow at the Harrisburg parade. :P I also know of two other current Lancers who read DCP. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Jeff Ream
Are you talking about Sun's "customized" version of the Westshore corps song?I have to take credit for authorship of that.... dates back to the 1982 season. The lyrics sometimes changed from week to week back then, depending on the situation. I honest to God only remember a couple of verses now. If you're not talking about that particular song, then ignore what I've just said. Move along.... nothing to see here..... :P <{POST_SNAPBACK}> whatever ya got man. most of the 82 corps has let it go by now :P

mikemey
I would actually love to see the words to Sky's corps song also (OHHHH Gabarina.....) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ask and you shall receive: Garbarina (Sung to the Tune of "Oklahoma") Oh here comes Garbarina, with our flags unfurled and flying high. Garbarina, we are drum corps men, who don't know when we are licked, and never will say die. We're from New York, and we will always sing her praises loud and clear. Garbarina, we will bring no shame to our fair name and no drum corps contest will we fear. Our drum line's the best in the land and our horn line, it plays twice as grand. And when we go, you'll see the greatest show. We're always out to win - sock it in Garbarina, Garbarina, Let's go! Chorus: Garbarina Mazarakos, Garbarina Mazarakos, (Repeat underneath) Our drum line's the best in the land and our horn line, it plays twice as grand. Everyone: And when we go, you'll see the greatest show. We're always out to win - sock it in Garbarina, Garbarina, Let's go!

Jaminbenb
Cool! thanks! I remember the first time I heard that..Sky was coming off the field at the Hershey show in 78 and singing it.. I thought it was the ballsiest tune you could sing with the line: Our drum line's the best in the land and our horn line, it plays twice as grand. After they sang the Corps song, they sang along to this little "ditty" the drumline was playing..the words went: "we want head (gimme some gimme some) we want some head" Send Bucky a $1. from me too! hahaha!!!
