There's nothing I like more than taking money from college students.  :)

You're EVIL!!! ]:-)

According to my scale, my DEG G Euphonium weighs 8 lbs. Not much when you think about it, although it can still make the arms beg for mercy after several hours (or about 15 straight minutes at the box).

The true diffrence between the Euph and the Bari are simple, the person,

The Euph player is most likely a trombone player looking to be in Drum Corps. Thus the personalty come with. We all know the Trombone thing. But some of us are Bass Trombone players, ]:-) That in and  among it self is a speical group. And we don't cry as much as the Bari players do. Real men play Euph.

Really cool to freshmen, EVIL to me when its time to go record them.

I've been through the recording bit. That did take quite a while, but once I got them clean I've really appreciated them ever since. Clarkes = awesome finger dexterity. It really makes sure you're slamming the valves at high tempos, too.

Switching from bone to baritone ~ maybe 2-2.5 lbs.

Switching from picc to flute ~ 1-2 lbs.

Switching from FLUTE to baritone ~ 6-7 lbs.

*Switching from FLUTE to euphonium ~ insane psycho with a death wish.
