There have been three ties, but the corps that won Semis still came in first. 21 years and counting. Whoever wins tonight - will win tomorrow. dmfootworks
I don't remember a margin this large from first to second. The last "big" gap I remember was '86 Finals -- BD over SCV by 1.4.

MikeN
I went and looked up the history of QF margins b/w 1 and 2. (Full QF's started in '89, and in '94 there was a rainout.) PhantomR
my scenario what's going to happen at finals. SCV has been playing it down, because they want to jump in for the attack. that night on finals, they are going to march the drill perfectly, the brass will be loud, clean, and emotional to boot, and the drums wont make a tick. the guard wont drop a sabre, a flag, or a rifle, and everything will be in sync. they will then reveal there actual drill, which resembles drill done by the Cavaliers in 2002, but they will be even cleaner, thusly putting up the highest score in DCI history, of a 99.42 they will then board the busses, without the slightest bit of celebration, as if it was no big deal, but quietly smirk on the way home in there busses. heh. ~>conner

Sideways
What if that is not their real show we have been watching all summer? How about that for conspiracy theories.

I would like to think I know a little something in regards to percussion. Something REALLY smells bad. 17.05? - that's the best sounding 17.05 drum line in the history of drum corps.
