You can like what you like. Who cares? And though some will attack you for being positive about this show, you have no need to apologize. These people who will attack you are just immature idiots, anyway... Personally, I HATED this show. It is just so...boring. The narration was so...annoying. At night, I can't help my...snoring... (sorry, I was on a roll with the rhyming words...) :D That reminds me of that great scene from, "The Princess Bride"... "Now, no more rhymes, and I mean it!..." "Anybody want a peanut?" wesleyrp Posted August 12, 2005 Share Posted August 12, 2005 I don't think that he is saying the show is stolen, but for many of us that saw the Logan HS wintergaurd show, it was not cool to see something that ws already done by a HS. I teach HS and i know that BD is usually very innovative, I just feel that this show, while performed well, just isn't the same as watching the winterguard sell it to you. It should have remained a winterguard show. But, BD will recover and it is not as though a 4th place finish is an awful season!!! Wes P. Kudos to you! I'm glad you found something you liked, especially that you were able to disregard whatever anyone else might have thought. My own opinion on this year's show is that it leaves me a little flat - at least when compared to the rest of the top six, and certainly when compared to their "quirky" show last year that absolutely blew me away. But they've taken a chance this year, tried something new, and I have respect for that. Who knows, maybe they'll rock the field at finals, and I'll end up loving their track on the CD. Thats like comparing a skyscrapper to a gas station. Fight Club and the Triangle were little gimmicks that, yes, were taken from other places. BD's entire show concept was taken from elsewhere.
