Fiedler
Two well-known Chicagoland dynasties have joined forces to bring Chicago football fans a new facet to the NFL game day experience. The Chicago Bears and The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps of Rosemont, Ill. have joined forces to create The Bears Drum Corps this fall at all Chicago Bears home games. bawker
With the Bears talent this year, this may well be the highlight of the season for ticket holders. :P
FrankBeMe
Us up here in Packerland aren't worried one bit about da Bears receiving any good karma from the Cavies as in order to receive such karma, one has to have something to work with to start with! Besides.....upon further review.......... oh and Jeff......to be a dynasty in football....a team has to have actually won a championship more than once in the past 40 years! :P but that is a good gig to get! Have fun with it! :) Edited August 22, 2005 by FrankBeMe

spiritsop01
awesome, there is hope in chicago after the grossmen injury afterall! <---lifetime bears fan <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If they are honestly putting that much faith into Grossman then they are in for an extremely long few years. When was the last time a UF QB (Spurrier Run&Gun stye) dominated in the NFL?

MN DCI Fan
Interesting idea. I wonder why they didn't go the mini-corps route and add a few brass to go along with the percussion? There's bound to be plenty of Cavie brass alumni in the area, too... Kudos to the Cavies for thinking "outside the football field." Er, I mean on the football field. Well, you know. I can laugh at that coming from Chicago. Wish Phantom was representing though. :( .
drumcat
It sounds like the Stampede for the Broncos. They've been a round for a while... though they are a "drumline". Maybe the thought is for brass later... maybe it's semantics in the name... either way, the more pro leagues, the better. "Soo, ahh, I laik deh Cavvies... 242, Cadets 6. How 'bout yous?" "Aah, Cavvies in a tight one. Thay beet da crosstowners 485.6 to 9." :) Edited August 23, 2005 by drumcat
