Recommended Posts

As most of you know, I supported the 2005 show with much enthusiam..........and although the placement might not attract attention from drum corps fans in the years to come, it's a show that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

That said, I would like to nominate myself as the "2005 SCV Appreciation Society" President. :P

Count me in. The reports of this shows "whatever" were greatly exagerated.

FInals night performance was mystical. The guard just oozed emotion, the communication with the audience was bested only by Phantom Regiment, IMO, and The design of ths show certainly had no recognizable flaws that I could see.

Yeah, count me in !

Count me in 100%. Finals night SCV was one of the most energetic, emotional moments of the night. The only way to describe it is Epic. When the horn line hit the flank in RCM how could you not feel what was going on? Incredible.

My favourite moment in that show was the first swell (crescendo-decrescendo in the brass, buzz roll in the battery) about 20 seconds before the first impact....it was chilling.

:whistle::lol:

I still recall that rifle line, tossing those rilfes from the left side, in a straight line and the catch was flawless, all of them . It was very reminiscent to the opening toss of 1987.
