Orpheus
So are there any shows that you didn't like much when you saw them in person, but which you grew more appreciative of after watching them on video or DVD a few times, or listening to them on CD? Mine's the 1992 Cavaliers. It took me until just a couple of years ago to really come to like that show. I enjoy it a lot more now than I did at first. It always struck me as the earliest prominent example of the wave of dark, kind of gloomy and ultra-serious, hang-it-on-the-wall-and-call-it-art shows that came to dominate DCI in the late 90s and early 00s. You know, the ones like SCV and the Cavies (among many others) did for several years there that left you thinking, "Well, it's a great show, but it's not necessarily very much fun." It's still not one of my favorites, but I'm certainly able to enjoy it more now than I used to. You got any?
madcontra99
For sure 1993 Star, although I was 15 years old and had no understanding of just what they were doing musically.

PCOP_trumpet04
More and more shows in recent years actually... SCV 03, Phantom 04, and BD 04 come to mind. BD 04 was actually one of my least favorite shows that season, but now I watch and listen to it all the time.
PhantomR
I agree. The first show that comes to me is BD 2004. ~>conner
BMBob
2004 Scouts and 2004 Blue Devils - I don't really know why.
Galen
'02 Blue Knights. During the season, I never cared for all the ballet (which even the PIT got in on a bit) and the harshness of the music. But now it's one of my favorite shows of theirs :)
howl711
BD '01 Saw it more than a few times over the course of the season, but never got into it at all. Was bored by it, actually. Now, I love it--especially that 2nd ballad.
