TheMoonlightChef
ok here is my 2 cents. The cabs have so many great soloists over the years I would have to say all of them.Being a baritone player myself my vote goes for Kent Pennell as well. I love to watch him circular breath. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mike Winfield, Andy Grilk, Timmy Campbell, Steve Racklowski, Bushman...
bumo27
Jerome Kimbrough from Bushwackers - best baritone player I've ever had the pleasure of hearing/marching with. Almost every recording of Bush you've heard with a baritone soloist, it's him.
bumo27
Also need to give it up for Scott MacIntyre from Sunrisers/Golden Eagles fame. Mellophone. Such a sweet sound.

Eggbert
Gotta go with Curt Hawkins because he was my big brother in ØMA. But, when Curt's not looking I'm a Screech fan all the way!

Mick Krackin'
I witnessed Curt Hawkins playing note for note with Maynard at the Danville show in 1985 or 1986. Maynard was on the field doing a concert at the end of the show and Curt was playing along behind the stadium by the buses, playing on his two valve bugle. It was awesome! I have also heard Curt do a pretty good rendition of the Carnival of Venice variations up an octave, without using any valves. He sounds better using the valves in the right octave, but still... Hands down the best soloist I have heard in drum corps over the last 21 years. And yes, he marches too, although he has been known to lay down and play his solos from time to time. Curt Hawkins....2003.... still playing on a 2 valve and making it sing!!!... And... He Marched the show too! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
lisard5
Lets see . . . Hunter Moss always my favorite! Roland (2001 victory concert CV & Brigs, awesome!!) Chris Nalls this year - especially on TI with the seagulls in the background (not motorcycles/airplanes/ambulance . . :) )
