Recommended Posts

The 2005 Cadets have been asked and accepted a position to perform in the Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade,

The corps will reconvene in New Jersey on Tuesday, November 22nd to begin rehearsal for not only the parade itself, but the minute and a half television performance of “Swing, Swing, Swing” that will occur in front of Herald’s Square on Thanksgiving morning.

In addition to the parade and the performance, the percussion section and guard members have been asked to perform for the 20 second, LIVE opening that has become a trademark of the parade.

The corps will remain in the state for the remainder of the week enjoying the sites of NYC and Philadelphia, they will rehearse Friday night and Saturday on 2006 show material and will close the week with their annual 2005 Awards Banquet held at the Philadelphia Airport Hilton.

The corps members are anxiously waiting to see each other, one more time before the hussle and bussle of the 2006 season is underway.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade starts at 9AM on Thursday, November 24th and will be aired on NBC.
