Best looking Drums

Recommended Posts

Something a little different. (Maybe not.) Who had the coolest looking drums? I know there are a lot of opinions out there. Let's hear some. I'll go first, (I'm old school). I like the early, mid '70's Santa Clara, with their

brassy/copper look. Way cool. Also, '78 Blue Devils with the white pearl finish and '76 Blue Devils North Tenors. Also, the late '70's Vanguard red drums and their Red Tympani that had the "slingerland" tenor look.

Hmm...

Northstar... "The Chrome Wall"

Cadets early 2000's when they did the copper. B.A.

The Glassmen 2004 drums with the custom paint.

Phantom Regiment 1995 and 1996 - The Black/Blue and the Black/ Red

Not Junior Corps, but the 2005 SF Renegades drums were simply terrifying. They tested very well in the "random 7 year old in a burger king" demographic.

Old school: Probably Devils all white and the North tenor drums. Props to the Muchacho's red

and Guardsmen's orange Vistalite's

New school: Renegades. Pretty cool... only seen a picture, but they look great.

Hmmm...no votes for VK's day-glo yellow? Or prism-mirror?
