HOOKEDBYLEGEND78
Many insightful posts on this topic! Good job! A few I'd like to bring up (or reiterate) are: Troopers 83 Geneseo 83 (best drum corps version of Russlan & Ludmilla!) Avant Garde (it was either 83 or 84, the black capes, then YELLOW jackets, and "JUICE!") Bluecoats 95 - extremely entertaining Phantom 85 & 95 SCV 86 !!!!!!!!!! THAT's how to do Festive Overture! Suncoast 83-89 (except 87, sorry, couldn't get into that one) Madison 86, just the middle section of the show. I felt the opener and closer didn't match with the two middle pieces. A very powerful baritone line that year. Scouts 80 - vintage, raw & powerful horn line! Best "Ice Castles" of the 3 they did. I'd still like to hear them add the tag from the opener to a current chart! BD 81, 01, 02 Star 89 Guardsmen 79 - hornline! Cavaliers 88, 89, 91 Cadets 90,

mwpercussion14
Definately SCV '03. I loved that show. Amazing percussion section and a powerful hornline to match it. Very cool show concept and great drill.
Einstein On The Beach
I don't see how BD 03 can't be said, no one ever talks about that show, and when they do it's normally complaining about the arrangements <**>. So I'll go with BD 03.

Sideways
I know I listed three other Magic shows but on second thought the show by them I would say is the most underrated is '94, the second year of Cirque du Magique. I get chills everytime I listen to that one. That is one show I definitely wish I could have marched.

Conveyed their intended aura perfectly, without needing any "you have now entered the Zone...please keep all arms and legs inside of the vehicle" to let viewers know what was going on. What a hornline! What a mellophone line!
