Send an editorial to any paper and try "demanding" its printed - you'll get a similar reaction Hopkins is busy - and that's all I got out of his responses - he's busy and therefore direct. Do I think this is the best way to voice displeasure over whether or not a site, person, etc. publishes your thoughts...........not really.
