oswald
I don't remember Fairfield. Besides, Evan, I thought it was Ankeny that had the tall grass. Or is Ankeny that has the dim stadium lights? Maybe both??? It all runs together...

ekleve
Hey Evan, were we at that show in 2001? We had a show in the Cinncy area and I recall the stadium was pretty lame. I remember that show because Madison beat us there and I had a good conversation with Dave Mayo in the parking lot afterward. I just looked at corpsreps.com and found these results. There was a show listed for Cincinnati on July 26 2001 where the Madison Scouts beat us by .65. Fairfield is in the Cincinnati area so maybe it was the same stadium. Then 3 days later we beat Madison in Centerville, OH by .85. Interesting.

Nevermind what I said before. Wow, now it appears we never played at Fairfield that year! All those crappy small stadiums in Ohio do blend together I guess. Oh well. I do know I've been to Fairfield 2 or 3 times as a fan after aging out! That much I'm sure of.

Matt_S
Yeah, I was watching that. As a Braves fan, makes me wish we still had Jermaine Dye. Man, could we use him this year. Of course, we could use just about anyone who could pitch, too. :P
