badmatchespartdos
I like how she is technically speaking to Alice and the others, but at the same time she is welcoming the audience to the tea party. (I am aware some of you prefer not to be there not matter how much she welcomes you...) Edited July 16, 2006 by badmatchespartdos
Hrothgar15
"It's a great pleasure!" "It's a great, great pleasure!" "It's a great pleasure to have all of you here today." "I thought you all might like to...sit and have some tea." "Mumble mumble mumble OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH mumble mumble it's off with your head! Mumble mumble mumble OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" "They each have their own little thing that they like." "ALICE GET READY FOR A MIND-BLOWING AFTERNOON!!!!!!" "BUUUUT...where are we!?!?!?!" "I swallowed one of these about two hours ago!" "It's off with your head!" "Can't somebody just tell me where we are!?" "Do they ALWAYS have to do that!?" Ugh. I simply cannot believe that all of these quotes were willingly put into the show. How have we let DCI get to this point? For shame, DCI, for shame.

Don't like it? Don't read it. I agree with him, for the record.

Just for the record, if you didn't agree with him, would you you be as tolerant of his opinions?
arno0940
I like the narration in the Tea Party - It makes it feel as if I were in wonderland with the characters experiencing a world of craziness, randomness and a magical place where things that appear are not what they seem. My Kudos to the Cadets for being able to recreate a scene from one of my favourite child-hood movies. Hrothgar 15: For someone who doesn't appreciate the creativity the Cadets bring to the field, it seems you put some time in remembering and typing up the lyrics of the Tea Party. I was going off the APD. World of craziness is right. I have never read "Alice in Wonderland," I know nothing of the story whatsoever, and I have no idea what's going on in this "tea party" scene. I go to drum corps shows to be entertained, not confused. It seemed everyone sitting by me was the latter.
