dbc03
Actually, Cavaliers opened it up slightly tonight.2 nights ago: Cavaliers: 87.2 Cadets: 85.45 Tonight: Cavaliers: 88.4 Cadets: 86.45 not much of a difference, but not a slow creep as you describe... Oops, my mistake. Still, there are plenty of years when the Cadets have been counted out and they come back to win or almost win.

X DM
I wouldn't say that just yet. Bluecoats and Cadets are both within striking distance. Cadets are usually a corps that gets their points at the end of the season.Scores in my signature are now fully updated through tonight. Cadets have never been 2 points off a pace Corps on July 18th and won DCI less than a month later. Last year, Cadets were up 1.5 on Blue Devils at this stage and 6 tenths behind Cavs. Cadets will have their hands full to secure 3rd this year. But that's just my opinion. I see this year as clearly a 2 Corps race for the Title. Edited July 19, 2006 by X DM

You are right about that for sure! Although now that I think about it, The Cavaliers are pretty good in the home stretch as well. Weren't there several years that they were in 2nd going into Finals, and then shot ahead? Well...either way, it should be interesting. geluf
Last year included. No. By this time last year the Cadets were scoring on par with the Cavies.

dbc03
No. By this time last year the Cadets were scoring on par with the Cavies. Actually, score wise we were 1.5 behind Cavies on July 18/19 at different shows and end up 1.5 ahead of them Nice 3 point swing from mid july to finals night

SkyRyder_FMM
SCV look to be in a grouping in the middle of the top 12 again this year. Yeah. After seeing everyone now, I'm guessing they will be in the 7th to 9th place range.
X DM
In 1992 the Cadets were in 6th place on July 24 and came within half a point of winning everything at Finals. They have closed the gap on Cavies 2 nights in a row now. Slow and steady wins the race.In 2003 on July 19th the Cadets were down by over 3 points to the Cavaliers. They finished the season .15 behind Yes, but your comments confirmed by initial remarks. Close doesn't mean they did it.
