GSNewell
In looking at the recaps, one thing stands out... Total GE is the route to a championship. With one exception (Crown/SCV flip-flop), the order of the Total GE score is the order of the final score. So for all the talk about so-and-so's guard beating so-and-so by a tenth or Drumline A beating Drumline B, in the end it's the GE score that will make the difference. CHSnare
Well it seemed the percussion and visual score made the difference for SCV over Crown. Edited July 23, 2006 by CHSnare

GE should be averaged like everythign else is. but on a lighter note... Phantom gets 2nd in GE
gongfunker
Agreed Greg...but I find it odd about the two percussion judges scores. Phantom was the clear overall winner tonight. bah.
nero14
bloo's guard dropped to 16.9- 7th.... what the crap?
GSNewell
bloo's guard dropped to 16.9- 7th.... what the crap? Bloo could have scored a full point higher in guard and placed fourth in the caption...wouldn't have made a difference in the standings. GE score is the key. toph34
Love them both BUT... PR 0.8 ABOVE Bloo in Vis GE... huh? I don't see it.
Agent 89
bloo's guard dropped to 16.9- 7th.... what the crap? Yeah... that looked pretty harsh to me as well. Granted, I was watching on a monitor, but I thought they looked great. They had a 17.8 their prior show in West Monroe, LA... .1 behind PR. nctarheels05
i agree, 100% - GE is huge... but a caption like percussion w/2 judges is huge also... Crown got like 11th in drums. If their drumline was about 2.5 points better they would be in the running for the top 5. the little things matter too.
Blue Devil Legend
No so much "total" GE in this case. GE Visual made up the most significant spread.
