San Antonio aftermath...

and i find funny that you critique me on posting something without value and yet you do so also!

HYPOCRIT!

Ouch! Hypocrite, let's not forget the silent "e" on the end.

Mine was not a critique of your original post being of no value, only that you felt the need to post it in a second thread where it might illicit someone like myself to come out in defense of the Bluecoats scoring. It is quite obvious that you are a worthwhile contributing member of these discussions I would only hope that the effort that we all put forth be aimed at provoking meaningful thought and discussion, not attempts to draw forth our enemies so that we might have flame wars.

You might notice that I dropped it.

:P

How about the amazing performance quality again this year top to bottom... incredible! I think there is much more parity among all of the corps than there ever has been since I started following the activity (around 1988). That is really exciting to me, and will only drive everyone to constantly improve the products and overall entertainment value.

I personally don't think BC should've topped PR in brass, but I do think the scores overall should've been closer

Madison did not have a good show tonight. In fact, 10th place was a gift. Glassmen should have beat them tonight.

agreed...I like Madison

but, from my totally unprofessional, unscientific, 'geez drum corps is sure cool' point of view...there were several other corps that put on a good enough show to edge them out of the evening show even. (don't shoot me)

They did much better in the evening show, but the afternoon show was really loose. If their playing didn't kick so much ###, they would have been sad.

Cavaliers are in Texas celebrating a victory and "Bdkappasig" is nowhere around to cry foul... Something doesn't seem right. :P

I just came back from the show and I have to tell you all this talk of PR being of is not true. Regiment was very good and I think put in some new stuff for SA and now just have to clean it. The difference in my opinion is that I think that the BC may not have much more that they can do to that show. I am not bashing BC, but it kinad left me flat as for Regiment, The ending of the opener and the tag on the closer are very exciting as well as the alto's (man can they play).

I think the judges gave PR some props for the changes. BC is clean yes, but I fear that they may have (now dont flame me)...peaked a tad early and that they may need to squeeze some new stuff out I'm just not sure where
