I dont play reed instruments, only brass and drums for me.... just thought this would be something interesting. I mean come on, amps on the field!!??!?! Thing is, there has to be a market for it. But short of microphones for every WW marcher, brass instruments just project better outside. If this hypothetical woodwind & drum corps was inside (and it would reallly have to be, pad replacement and associated costs for an "outside woodwind line" would be outrageous), then perhaps it might be something to consider. I don't think it's feasible unless it were some kind of WGI-like indoor thing -- but even if that made it feasible, I don't think it'd be advisable.
