Bored50345
Yeah Phantom and Cadets have histories of inching there way up during finals week. I think this year PR has the show to do it, I'm not sure the same can be said about the Cadets.
QuentinTarantino
Even if the Cadets could march and play a championship show, there is about a 50% chance that their amps would malfunction and ruin it all.

LOL well amp malfunction hasn't seemed to hurt them so far this year.
BobFieldsDCW
Since some corps have not moved at all the last few weeks, I would not expect to see any movement at all. Perhaps the corps that have been within the same point and have move by tenths. But the judging community has not been very brave this year to make anything other than minor movements. As they say... It is what is!
chris7240
Hopefully the Colts can find a way to slide into finals. But I think Phantom would be the dark horse to look out for this weekend.
Tone Quality Matters
LOL well amp malfunction hasn't seemed to hurt them so far this year. No, but show design did.
gellio
as far as history, in 83, Garfield went from a tie for 2nd in semis to win it.Biggest shock was Regiment in 96 going from 4th in qrtrs, to 3rd in semis, to 1st in finals Dark horse of 06 is definitely Phantom Regiment Well Garfield was undefeated all season until Semis, so it wasn't a shock they won at all! Cardman
the cadets as always are a fear for many corps...i remember jeff fielder said that even though you are ahead in finals...the corps you are looking at from your shoulder is the ones wearing Maroon and Gold...because you never know what kind of crazy stuff they might start doing...and well...it's true...they will inch up...i'm sure...not first but at least 4, but it might surprise a few to see them up to number 2 The Cadets will not inch up, they will fall to SCV. Phantom is the "dark horse" this year (as far as being able to win it all), end of story. :)
hurdra
The biggest potential dark horses are: Phantom in either 2nd or 1st Bluecoats in 3rd SCV in 5th
hurdra
Well Garfield was undefeated all season until Semis, so it wasn't a shock they won at all! I watched every weekend show that year after the Cadets came south of the Mason-Dixon (Louisville). I was in Miami, too - all week long. The Cadets were ROBBED in semi-finals - not only did they give a better performance than ANYONE that night, they actually gave their BEST performance of the year; many who saw it all live felt like they were a little "flat" during finals, and actually thought they might lose to BD. But yes, they were indeed robbed of an undefeated season - they were certainly NOT the dark horse that year (Vanguard was).
