Kamarag
Jim Jones was the Troopers' founder, and executive director from 1957-1987. Don Warren founded the Cavaliers in 1948, and handed the corps manager duties over in 1975 (but is still the president of the board I believe...at least according to his DCI Hall of Fame bio). Jerry Seawright took over as manager of the Blue Devils organization in 1964 and retired following the 1983 season. PioSop06
I think Roman Blenski would blow all those guys out of the water, tenure-wise. Roman Blenski the Second, not RBJ, I assume? Hes been executive director since 1961 (when the corps was founded), and corps director this past season. Edit: Obviously, that'd be 45 years. mfrontz
Gibbs: First year was 1974Clarence Beebe - 29 years. Scott Stewart - 25 years Gibbs's first year with the corps might have been 74, but he did not succeed to the directorship until 1991. Jerry Seawright until 1982, I think. cccmommy
I am pretty sure that Jerry Seawright was director through '84, although he missed finals because he was hospitalized. Mike Moxley took over in '

Piper
Mary Wilson, Founder, Director, and now Executive Director of the Bandettes; 43 years as director. That's 25 with my face in the dirt. I totally forgot about that. From what I hear the kids practically worship her. :)
