Lance
First of all, they sound very nice. But I really hate these funky versions of the Anthem.

TheLurch
Wow, I really like that arrangement. Check this out. Scott Dean playing the National Anthem.
Lance
I should amend what I said. The arrangement itself is very well done, and sounds very nice. I just prefer a more straightforward arrangement, having played it literally a couple thousand times.
xmensop
NICE! Whose arrangement was that? We played that version several times back in the early 2000s. If you listen to the mellophones, you might come to the conclusion that Jay Bocook arranged that. :) Edited September 4, 2006 by xmensop
oldbandguy
Nice job Cap Reg! I was at this show and remember thinking how GREAT to have the National Anthem at a drum corps show actually performed by a drum corps. Wish more corps would take the time to learn and perform it. I liked the arrangement. I've heard much "funkier" arrangements.

OldNumber7
It is a Bocook arrangment. Its the same one the Cadets and Crossmen still play.
