keyp Posted October 18, 2006 Share Posted October 18, 2006 Adagio for Strings is still protected under copyright law so don't do an arrangement of it unless you have gone through the proper channels, paid the fees AND have the "permission to arrange" paperwork in hand. As for the SCV progression that hints at Adagio - I know where you get that one fully orchestrated for drum corps or dare I say...band... for a reasonable price as well the 6 other progressions that SCV played from 2004-2006. Lance Posted October 18, 2006 Share Posted October 18, 2006 If you type "midi" and "adagio for strings" into google, you can get a midi version of it pretty easily, run it in finale or some other program, and then arrange it yourself, making sure to adhere to the legality, etc, of course.
