Two words DCA,

FIVE CONTRAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right boys and girls,.........FIVE CONTRAS on the first day of practice and Pete's looking for more contras for the ones that weren't able to make it to Open House (Boyfabio had better be there in December). It brings a tear to my eye to think that FIVE CONTRAS are starting the season. It seems like just yesterday I was standing there all by myself in warm-ups and now, FIVE @#$ %&*$ CONTRAS. Life is good in the contra section. Now we get better!!!

It sent chills down my spine when you guys played through the warm up and opener. OOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! It's gonna be a great year!!! Ben really has outdone himself with the music. Can't wait to add the percussion and pit, to put it all together. Next camp is Dec 16th and 17th. Hope we can get everyone there that was missing this weekend! And yeah, the contra section rocks, Mike!

The Corps is doing show that is totally different from the past two years. It's a serious theme that we think will be enjoyed by the fans, judges and the playing member. The first camp/open house got the people really excited. Here is a general description of what we're doing in 2007:

The Gladiator:

featuring music from Fate of the Gods by Steven Reineke, Mars: The Bringer of War by Gustav Holst, selections from the Troy soundtrack by James Horner, and selections from the Gladiator soundtrack by Hans Zimmer
