Kansan
I'm assuming the Troopers get to keep their Division I Status? I have not seen anything to the contrary. Go Troop!
tubamann
I think this is great! There are a lot of students in east Tennessee that want to march drum corps, especially in the knoxville area. Look forward to seeing whats produced this season. Good luck Troop! Not to take any air out of the Trooper's sails, but kids in E. Tennesee have had a drumcorps choice for years. There is a pretty good Division I corps just 3.5 hours to the east... :) Anyhoo..though, best of luck to the Troop!

Also, back in the late-80s, early 90s, a bunch of us UT alums went to a little town in Indiana to march. ;-)

While there is a great corps to the east. Its almost 5 hours driving to them through and around the mountains. I know some students in the cookeville area that would love to audition. This gives an avenue for those students who cant make it out east to see if they have what it takes to make a corps.
