Bridgemen camp weekend

What a timely discussion! My exceptionally handsome, chic and debonair husband and I were discussing the Bb issue just the other day. He's a rigid traditionalist - would love to see the corps revert to 2-value G horns. I , on the other hand, have more of an open mind and would embrace Bb horns, woodwinds and marching strings - just the thought of a mandolin line makes me all misty...

I guess opposites do attract...

Lynn

Hey Lynn,

That's odd, because you have the drum corps experience, and he WAS the bando!

A mandolin line, huh?

What's next?

Oh, wait, I've got it...

Let's expand the pit a little more, with some Harps on wheels!!!

...that will provide better "balance"!

Okay, my husband is now a doomed man..... He logged on under me and now will pay the price.

I want to set the public record straight:

B flat horns - never !

Expanded pit - -I hate expanded pit

Harps - never

Woodwinds - never, never and did I say never !

Chic & debonair ??? Okay, but how about sleeping in the garage with a Bflat horn, your tuba, and some harpists ?

You show the guy one little thread on DCP and this is what I get.....

This is the real Drum Corps fan, Lynn.......

Come down to Bayonne.

We play whole songs (not bits and pieces).

We have accessible shows that audiences relate to.

And there's no amplification!
