On the field, from Franklin, NJ...

That's right, we are moving!

With the help of an alumnus of the corps, The Bushwackers are proud to announce that the corps will be moving into our very OWN HOME in Sussex County, New Jersey.

The new corps hall will feature ample indoor rehearsal facilities for all sections of the corps, lodging facilities for out-of-towners, office space, and plenty of winter storage for our top-notch equipment and uniforms. This building provides a new base of operations for the Bushwackers...and our first official "corps hall" since the mid 90's. The move also brings the corps closer to towns in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania, Western New Jersey, and the Southern Tier of New York!

Please click here for the full story.

The Bushwackers are the six time DCA World Champions and are the defending 2006 brass and color guard champions.

The corps is still accepting applications for membership. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Bushwackers, please click here to fill out ther membership form on our website.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

This is spectacular news! Not only do we have a building to call our own, but we also are developing a relationship with the community, our neighbors, etc. They're excited to have a world class, championship caliber drum and bugle corps in their very own backyard! (of course, we haven't made any noise yet...lol).

We have members from all over the map...and it's still easy to get there for you. So, even though the release says that we're closer to Central PA and the Pocono’s area, Western NJ, and NY State...we're still an easy ride from the NYC area, and all of the other places that our members have traditionally come from. Plus, if you do have to drive a long distance, we have somewhere for you to stay!

More announcements on this are to come. This is the most exciting announcement in years. It's just such a great moment in our history to be able to face the future in our own home.

Come check it out on February 17th and 18th and play some loud, fast, and awesome charts written by Al DiCroce and Ralph Hardimon while you're there. It's drum corps time, baby!

Thanks Holly!

We don't have to imagine it. The reality is now here. We've been working tirelessly to polish up the building and make it ready for the corps to move in. It's just about ready to be rocked off of its foundation!

The building really is huge. It will become a drum corps mecca for years to come in the future. When I first stepped into the new corps hall, my jaw dropped at the sheer size of it. Like Alex said, there's TONS of room for all the sections to rehearse in, SEPARATELY, and there's beautiful APARTMENTS upstairs for out of town members that need a place to crash for the weekend.

And it's all OURS. Simply astonishing what can happen with amazing alumni support and a lot of elbow grease from members and alumni alike.

I assume we'll be posting pics when it's all cleaned and looking tidy...which will be occuring shortly!

Glad to see the enthusiasm, Chris.

Of course, how can you not be stoked when we're going to be moving into our very own home?!?!
