Choose One Show To March

Recommended Posts

Given the opportunity to march any show, with any corps, in any era, what would you march? Please, give a reason as well.

For me, it's gotta be Scouts '95. That crowd reaction is unparalleled, and the feeling they must have had coming off the field that year beats anythin I can think of.

So what's your choice?

i'm gonna have to go with bd 2000. i admittedly put little to no thought into this choice but it was the first thing that popped into my head.

pure bad ###, literally the entire show, and i'd love ripping my horn down twice at the end. the second swell of applause always gets me going too.

i'd be totally ok marching any cadets show in the 90's due to the fact that i'm a mellophone player, ya hur?

Cadets 2000, oh wait, I did march that show....

What I meant to say was Cadets 1998. That show was a great show. I would have loved to play that ballad. There are so many drill moves in that show I fantasized about too.

For me it would have to be:

1976 Blue Devils - One of my all time favorites

1977 Bridgemen - Gotta love the Bridgemen shuffle

1991 Star of Indiana - That Zingali drill

1992 Velvet Knights - What a fan friendly show

2004 Santa Clara Vanguard - A fantastic show

If anyone has a time machine that actually works...give me a call !!

My first thought was Phantom 03 because I love that show. But then I thought 'finals in Orlando....' and that nixed that. So I ended up with SCV 04. I only recently saw a finals video of this performance with the added ending and was blown away once again. Scheherazade :ph34r:

2004 Santa Clara Vanguard. Probably the best front ensemble book and performance I've ever seen.
