Steven Rocco
It was PHENOMINAL!
madalumni
From the first time I saw that show live in South Milwaukee, I was hooked. I had not heard a Madison hornline that powerful and well blended up to that point! And it wasn't just that they had a great hornline. That show was just so well designed from top to bottom. usmpiano
I want some of the idiots that voted no on this to have some cojones and have a reply as to why they didn't like it.I'd love to know some reasons...
chris ncsu
Yes, BUT, not as much as everyone else. It's almost...too much for me, to tell you the truth. Is 'too much' valid? By that I mean...too loud, too many screamers, it's not my thing, usually...
rut-roh
Loved the energy of the performers. Really liked the hornline a lot. Was indifferent to the drumline. They marched pretty well, but I did NOT like the drill. Compared to some of their competitors, it almost looked like it was in slow motion. Overall, I liked it. Lots of fun. tommytimp
That's a pretty good assessment. I never saw it live, but it seemed like a Sherman tank that just rolled iover you without stopping.
arrangerx
1995 Madison Scouts was probably the most fun I've ever had as a drum corps fan. . . I got to see them most of the summer that year, and was never disappointed. It isn't exactly visually stimulating if you go back and watch the DVD, but "live" it was devastating. Absolutely scorched-earth in the best possible way.

SCVsopAaron
...Maedhros asked me if I honestly felt that Madison 1995 was better than Cavaliers 2002, and I'm going to have to give a resounding, "YES!" This is where I disagree... They are both amazing shows, but as to which is better, depends on your taste... I prefer Cavies 02, but that's just me.
