Whats your dot number this summer?

Recommended Posts

well I haven't marched in 17 years, but my last year I was 52b

Man, I can't believe you remember that. I haven't a clue what mine was. Besides, we had Tony Hall writing in 94--I'm not sure we even had them that year. Or, if we did, they didn't last through the winter season. I don't recall any of the summer changes--and there were about a billion of 'em-- ever coming in the form of printed charts. (Brazale was a different story, though...)

This sounds like such a simple question but every summer I marched, I had SOOO many different numbers, it was nuts! "ok drill move 1-40 you are this number... then in the next song, switch to this one, then back to the first one." That's colorguard for ya!

I"m pre Dot-Book. We used to get full page charts, then as changes came we were expected to remember them. We pretty much dressed form for years, and only really tried to nail dots my last year. As for me....B2 four years in a row!

My dot in the Madison Alumni Corps last summer was 30 (Baritone)

Back in 1990 it was 52 (Baritone) and I forgot what it was in 1989.

For summer of 2007 it will simply be me, as in, I will be a dot on the horizon

as I go 155 mph on my Motorcycle! :D
