Medeabrass Posted July 7, 2007 Share Posted July 7, 2007 The massive clump of elite corps is yet another testament to scoring the corps and not the show. The score gap troubles me. Does DCI ever calibrate scores by having two or more judges do a side by side rating of the same show? I really wish they had the money to do so. It would be awesome if they could have 2 judges for every caption and then average the scores...of course the field would get a little over crowded with those out of shape guys in green trying not to get in the way. I think we should look at this more seriously after tonight's shows. Cadets in Allentown....expect a 2 point jump. Bluecoats in Canton going on last, expect an 85 (last nights score was bogus, lets be real). I would expect BD and Cavies to hold serve at 84 or 85 and PR and SCV likewise.
