Our first corps of the night is taking the field, Cincinnati Tradition of Cincinnati, Ohio. Their 2010 production is entitled “Tradicion Hispana Sequnda Parte”. No show music posted on Corpsreps.com.

Tradition looks like they bought Crossmen's unis from 1999-2003. I'll get a picture up once they're performing.

Tradition has 7 guard, 2 DM, 16 brass, and 12 percussion.

Nice opening silent drill for about 16 counts, then the corps opens with "Bully".

One of the horn members is standing on the front sideline and playing, must be new.

No pit, by the way.

Great soprano soloist. Guard is doing work which has an 80s feel (not a bad thing) and is pretty tight so far.

Only two contras, but they're putting out some good sound. Looks like at least one euphonium, too, which also helps fill out the low end.

They've got a set of horn players who can really play. Now they've got to get the rest of the horn line to that standard and they'll be scary good. Still, for the first year out in DCA competition, Tradition is setting the bar at a good level.
