Now the low brass wins the clarity contest as we build to the final hit of the show.

That was a very strong performance from a first year corps. I enjoyed the Kenton music, although the arrangements were, as I've said, weird at times.

There is a Canadian corps wearing capes coming on to the field now. The DM platform is decorated with a Jack-o-lantern and candy canes. This tells me that the music is probably Nightmare Before Christmas.

And I'm partially right. Next on the field are the Blue Saints from Sudbury, Ontario. Their 2010 program is entitled "The Struggle Within" and consists of:

What's This? (from Nightmare Before Christmas) by Elfman, Danny

Theme from Beetlejuice by Elfman, Danny

Ice Dance (from Edward Scissorhands) by Elfman, Danny

Selections from Sleepy Hollow by Elfman, Danny

The aforementioned capes are black on the outside, black and white striped on the inside.

Blue Saints have an honor guard! Excuse me, an HONOUR GUARD.

Just finished "What's This", now into Beetlejuice. Horns are a small but hardy group in this corps with just one contra and eight horns total. There's two other horns standing with the honour guard now, must be new to the show.

We've got an ensemble tear between the pit and the field.

Love the drum line's "LET'S GO BIG BLUE!" as they come forward before the end of Beetlejuice.
