IntheMood
Strong crescendo to the release by the horn line. This is a very classic Spartans show and, for those who care about such things, no electronics involved at all. Very good Spartans for going acoustic. Now to get the whole Div. to follow suit and go acoustic.
kevingamin
Nice crescendo/decrescendo by the drum line. Twice. While doing body movement.
kevingamin
Yeah, I'm looking forward to this show at DCI Finals and on the Michigan City APDs. Crowd is giving it up for Spartans! Great job!

kevingamin
Next on the field is Genesis from Edinburg, Texas. Their 2010 program is entitled "One Night in the Valley" and consists of: Quien Sabe (Who Knows) from Cuban Fire Suite by Kenton , Stan La Suerte de los Tantos from Cuban Fire Suite by Kenton , Stan Autumn Leaves by Kosma; Mercer; Prevert Mambo Inn by Unknown 23 Degrees N 82 Degrees W by Unknown Malaguena by Lecuona, Ernesto
kevingamin
how did they pick the preformance order I dunno, but, since Spartans were inactive last year, they probably don't get to perform very late at shows.
kevingamin
Show opens with horns facing front, soloists playing snippets of the Quien Sabe melody. Drums are a little dirty on the first hit, but horns have a good sound to start the show.
kevingamin
High tempo for Los Suertos. Mellophones come up front and stand feet spread to play the melody. Nice attitude.

WoW, going on early and still scoring well, that says something about the Spartans
kevingamin
Not sure what they're playing now, but the finger snapping move by the horn line looks silly. Write some more drill there, please.
