kevingamin
WoW, going on early and still scoring well, that says something about the Spartans EXACTLY.
kevingamin
Now into Autumn Leaves. A faster swing arrangement than what we're used to from Bluecoats.

kevingamin
Nice arrangement, although the end is rather abrupt. Soloists are doing a great job tonight.
kevingamin
Drum solo now, Mambo Inn. I don't recognize it. Tenors need to clean up their feature. Snares do a great job on theirs.
kevingamin
Corps moves into free time as they finish the piece. Not sure why they feel the need to pander to the crowd during the transition between Mambo Inn and Malaguena. Nice lush sound from the trumpets at the opening. kevingamin
6 tubas, right in front of me, putting out a great sound.
kevingamin
This is really two shows, depending on when the arranging gets weird, mainly during transitions.
kevingamin
We're into the fast paced portion of Malaguena now. Upper brass is doing a better job than the lower in terms of playing together. I like the drive, but there's just something weird about how the music's arranged. I can't quite put my finger on it.
kevingamin
Trumpet trio up front doing a great job leading into the park and blow we know so well.
