If you go back into the archives, it was normal for the top corps to start in the low 70's, regardless of the date of the first show. I was curious to see when the last time the Cadets started off a season with a 66.95. The DCP archives don't go back far enough. Could it have been the 80's? They came out in 1997 with a score of 66.7 for the first show, then 66.00 for the second show.
