Ed Boxer Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 There are several infamous drill moves that corps have made that were in reality very simple in design (not that they were easy to achieve) that I can watch over and over and still grin/laugh/tear-up in appreciation. A few of my favorites: 93 PR – full corps crabbing 87 Cadets – disappearing, reappearing company front 95 Madison – rotating company front Quote
crazymello Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 first move of cavies 2002. Line to triangle like boom, but not too hard to actually write. Quote
luvs me sum mello! Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 2002 Cavaliers. The wedge ripple jump over 2 steps. Amazing move. But for writing? "Select form - Push Tool - Push 1 yard to the right" Quote
corps-mudgeon Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 2006 Cavaliers--the guard squishing the horn block and it snapping back; the assembly line feeding rifles to the weapons line. Quote
Hrothgar15 Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Madison 1993 end of show...rotating company front facing backfield, upon straightening every other member ducks as the person next to him rotates his horn over him for the final company front push. Quote
whitedawn Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 i don't believe i'm saying this, but 1996 phantom... when the horns close in around the guard, the guard all falls down, and the horns march away after the hit, leaving a big clump of red on the field. so simple. Quote
CloudHype Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 (edited) Got to go with some Brubaker stuff. X's to diamonds The snake Now with Gaines... Diamond cutter Now I'll disagree with the OP. The dissolving company front... The mental ability to come up with that is scary. Edited January 6, 2009 by CloudHype Quote
NR_Ohiobando Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Madison Scouts 1997: The "waves" move at the end of the ballad. I couldn't believe how ridiculously cool that looked the first time I saw it. Quote
BozzlyB Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Oh, Oh! I can't believe I'm the first to mention 89 Cadets, the distortion boxes the hornline did during the drum features. SWEET move with such a cool effect up high! Quote
brlucmo Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Phantom 1996 - Big hit at the end of the opener. Hornline is in an amoeba (sp?) shape then in the middle of the hit they move to a triangle....fairly simple but I love. Quote
