garfield Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) A friend at work knows I'm involved with our local show, and she asked me to introduce her to drum corps. I've ALMOST decided to show her 2000 Cadets (my favorite "recent" show). I'd like to know which show you'd use to introduce someone to DC. And which would you show her first, the high camera version or the multi camera? Discuss and thanks for the ideas. Edited March 13, 2010 by garfield Quote
general_tsos_chicken2 Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 not a bad choice! i'd go with multi-cam Quote
jimwolf359 Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 That is a great choice. Show her the hi-cam video first, then the multi-cam. Hi cam will give her a great look and feel for what the Cadets did that year. the Multi-Cam vid will blow her mind. Especially the finale! Quote
luvs me sum mello! Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Multi. It's more likely to show off the GE stuff that non-DC people will find more entertaining. Quote
Paralda Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Multi. It's more likely to show off the GE stuff that non-DC people will find more entertaining. This. Quote
general_tsos_chicken2 Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 don't show her the same show twice...she might get bored :p Quote

Most people I try to show high cam shows get bored and see them all as the same, it's definitely the up close things that they remember more. Quote
