I still dont think that DCI should have put it at the Rose Bowl in the first place. If they wanted it in Cali then San Diego (Qualcomm?), Berkley, or heck, even FRESNO would have been better than the Rose Bowl. That stadium is too low and will never give DCI the status that it deserves.

Personally, I am a bit concerned about the Glassmen. I dont think that the EuroTour is going to help them much because competitively, they will be light years ahead of anybody over here, thus giving them a false sense of security if they are not careful. I think that they may be in for a bit of a shock when they get back to The States. That said, my dark horse pick for Semis has to be the Blue Stars. Call me crazy if you like, but I guarantee they will be a Finalist within 3 years.

I would be really interested in seeing them have the chutzpa to go old school and try out white shoes with this ala 1985.

Last I checked, one of the greatest aspects of drum corps is that your skin color, gender or socio economic status meant diddly. Simply put, "Do you have the chops" is all that matters. Nice try at trolling. Topic closed.
