HAHA I guess soo... I was surprised that there hasn't been a topic already on this. I just want to know what everyone got to see when they were marching, past to the present! See what's changed! History intrigues me, and so do beautiful women!

WoW!!! I'm amazed at how much I didn't know! I need to see some pics so I can agree with all these posts! I'm sure they're truthful, but I just want to see what you guys did! If there are any sites you can send me where I can see the oldschool color guards?!

You didn't think they were smokin hot? Come now, all I look for in a good drum corps is a wicked hornline with a tight/chill dline. The guard is just the icing on the cake! The sweeter the better! Just like SCV 2004, they weren't the cleanest guard, but they were all gorgeous girls!

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but the stuff I've seen from SCV this year isn't too impressive. Even with it being June. Them being a contender for a title seems a ways off still.

That's not true at all. There is no escaping the doctor. Not even in the top 5, they use it year round. It just instills that tempo, literally to the point where you dream about that tempo. Having marched 7 years in the activity, I still sometimes kick myself out of sleep dreaming about basics to the dr.

I haven't really done my homework to see if there is a thread like this, but I just want to know everyone's thoughts! The two that pop into my head are SCV 2004 and Phantom 2008. DISCUSS!

That's exactly right. The left side of the jacket has three windows, and the material in them will be green. As to the shade of green, no one really knows yet. Possibly green plumes?!

To be honest, all of that is already given to the corps members to do! We make sure that the housing site is cleaner when we leave then when we got there! WE (being the corps) have to do OUR best to make sure the people giving permission for us to stay there want us back.

I just can't get over how crazy Crowns bass heads disappear when they are facing the stands! Love it!

We didn't have purple plumes last year, that was 2006. Last year, everything was earthy tones. Light brown plumes with three turkey feathers, and the DM's with dark brown plumes. I hope they keep the same plumes, and just change the material behind the three windows on the front of their unis.

I think the unis are going to make the corps look BA if you ask me. Being in Crown last year, I got to do quite a few "retreats" with them and, not going to lie, the older uniforms didn't fit them very well. The pants were baggy and loose. The long, slim legs will give them all a height boost and getting rid of the "wings" will also do just that! I just hope the people fitting the corps make sure they all fit like that. If a corps doesn't have a great sewing crew, these new unis might look just the same. Lets hope for the best! AND On the topic of adding red. Didn't they have red accents when they did the Apasionada 874??? I HOPE they leave the uni be, and just march the hell out of the show! Can't wait for this season, it's going to be an amazing one!

I've heard that they are doing okay all around. This last week hurt them horn line wise since they were unable to play any louder then MF due to complaining residents. So the one recording that was up for less then a day showed just that. An okay horn line sans drum line. Even though they couldn't play any louder then MF, intonation was a big problem, and they weren't moving together. So I hope they can pick it up! I love this music, just hope they do it justice!

Crown, Cavies, Phantom. I have loved these three corps more and more as I've become more involved in the drum corps activity. Not going to lie, not only do these three have huge potential with their shows, but so do all of the finalists from last year! It's going to be an amazing year for the activity IMO. I'll get back to this once I've seen everyone's show! Wish everyone luck this season!

I am just so excited for this season of drum corps! All the corps are putting out such innovative shows! Just can't wait for the season to officially start!

She's pretty awesome! Ashley isn't too social though! Keeps to herself, but is amazing once you get to know her!
